Biography
Erik's primary instrument is the guitar, and his education includes studies with top Chicago musicians/educators such as Larry Gray and Frank Caruso. As a teacher, Erik sees around 20 guitar students per week, which he has been doing for over 4 years at Musical Expressions, Inc . As a performer, Erik has done a wide variety of freelance performance on both guitar and electric bass, including private parties, clubs, restaurants, fundraisers, weddings, churches, musicals, and festivals. His jazz duo, The Tommy Two-Tones, was recently featured on a local entertainment television show. Erik has also had the priviledge of working with well-known Chicago musicians, including drummer Ed Breckenfeld (columnist for Modern Drummer Magazine, session player).

Composer
Erik is an avid composer of original instrumental production music and flash music loops who is internationally published. Drawing on an extensive range of influences, Erik creates in a multitude of styles in his home studio, including: electronic, rock, classical, hip-hop, blues, Latin, jazz, children's, unique, etc. Please visit the "Production Music" page of this site to hear Erik's work.
